I used 4-ounce jelly jars, granulated sugar, and Dial body wash. I chose this body wash because it is blue as well as antibacterial, but any body wash or dish soap can be used.

Great idea, and simple. I can’t wait to try this, since my hands are like the Sahara Desert, and I have a hard time finding products that will moisturize. With the number of times a day when hand-washing is required, I’m looking for something simple, effective and something that’s not cost-prohibitive. This is most definitely worth trying!

I made this today as a trial run. I made it with the pink Himalayan Dial soap. It came out very light pink so I tried one drop food color..perfect. A nice bright pink. Than I scrubbed my hands with it and the little bit of dye used it does NOT stain your hands. The smell was lovely and not overpowering. Next I am going to make it with a dial creamier soap and see how it come out. I did buy a small pkg of 6 fragrent body essential oils for an added fragrence if needed. These are for my Bunko game gifts for my Spa Bunco.

Awww…thanks so much Cindy! You made my day! I spent my Saturday evening alone doing a foot soak and scrub using some of the items I’ve made and it was blissful. I turned the lights down and lit some pumpkin spice candles. My feet and my hands feel soft and smooth…plus I got to relax while my husband was out with our kids!

Wow this is such a smart and cute diy! Definitely trying this! Do you think that you could put a drop of food coloring in to change its color? Would that work?

Yes, you can put a little food coloring in. You can also substitute a different soap to get a different color. Best of luck! ~Tonia

This is perfect for my daughter’s spa birthday party! Would you by any chance have a printable of the frame only, without the words “hand scrub”? That way I could print “Bella’s Spa” on it. I would so apreciate it!!

      Hi Patricia,
Sounds like fun! Tell your daughter Happy Birthday! Here is the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzzc0kU7BM6FUEExSk5DNUhIWVU/view?usp=sharing
It is only one label so you will have to resize and duplicate it either with a free photo editing program or using your printer settings.
