One star, two stars.
Hyunjin says there are a lot of stars in the sky, then why is Seungmin only looking at two? He is not lying, right? No, he can't. Papa says lying is a bad habit. Good pups and wolves don't lie.
Anyway, stars should not distract him. He has a very important thing to do.

Two.
Three.
Four.
"Minnie."
Now, this is an exception. Seungmin could have ignored anyone, but never his Papa.
He gets up quickly. Dizzy.
Papa only smiles at him. He is warm. Seungmin wants to sleep in his arms. Maybe Papa is here to stargaze with him.
"You have leaves all over you, Seungmin. How long have you been playing here?"
Seungmin slides further so he can hug Papa properly.
"I was doing a very important thing."
"What is it?"
"I was trying to make a list."
"Oh?"
"I was trying to list my favorites and you are number two."
"Really? Who is above me, hm?"
"Yongbokkie!!! He is my absolutely favorite. He is so nice. He plays with me. He breaks up meat for me."
"Haha, and who is third?"
"Hyunjin! And then Jeongin because he has to be there. And then Jiwonnie, then Uncles. Then Aunties. Everyone."
"Where is Jisung?"
"Last. Verrrry last. Even after the whole jungle and the birds and the plants and the animals. He annoys me so much!"
"Be nice to your brother, Minnie. He means well."
"But he teases me, Papa. All the time."
"Okay okay. You win."
"Yay! That's why you are my second favorite!"
"Haha, what if I say you will soon have another person on the list? Someone new?"
"We have guests, Papa? Are we meeting pups? Oh, do I have a sister? I want a sister!"
"No! I mean, yes a new wolf. You will love him."
"Is he pretty? Like Hyunjin?"
"Very pretty. And nice."
"Oh. When can I meet him?"
"At our meal time. He is going to stay in the hut in front of ours. Be nice, okay?"
"You can always trust me, Papa. Oh, can Jeongin meet him too?"
"Of course."
"Yay! Oh, Papa?"
"Yes?"
"I think you are my number one. For now. Only for now okay? Don't tell Bokkie. He will get sad."
"Hahahaha. Alright."

Flowers and cherries.
Seungmin has plucked them himself with Hyunjin. They look so beautiful.
He hopes the guest will like it too.
He is excited.
Jeongin is not.
His twin is shy when you first meet him. But Seungmin knows him. They will all b best of friends.
He hopes this guest is as nice as Papa says. Then again, Papa never lies.
Yongbok is holding Jeongin in his lap. Seungmin wants to sit there too. But the place is full.
It's okay. He can wait for Papa to come. Or maybe the guest will be nice enough to let Seungmin sit on his lap.
Jisung is missing.
Maybe he is with Jiwonnie. He is mostly with her. Seungmin wants best friends too.
He hopes this guest can be his best friend. Just like Wooyoung and Yongbok, Jeongin and aunties. Papa and Hyunjin.
Seungmin waits and waits. And then eats one cherry from the pile.
"Don't eat them all, MinnieMoo."
"I know. Go back to where you were. We don't need you."
"You mean even before you were born? Because I'm older than you, puppy."
"So?"
"Where is Papa?"
Seungmin refuses to entertain Jisung further. He won't.
"He is with Uncle Minho, Ji. Minnie and Innie will meet him today."
"Oh, okay. I think I'll eat at Jiwon's then. Let Papa know."
"Okay."
Seungmin eats another cherry. They have been waiting for a long time. Even Yongbok looks annoyed now.
"Bokkie, do you think Uncle guest will like us? Do you know how he is?"
"He is nice, Minnie. Don't worry. They might be….Oh, they are here."
Seungmin almost drops his basket in a hurry. But he doesn't. Phew. That would not be a good first impression if he wants to be best friends with Uncle guest.
And wow. Uncle guest is so pretty. Hyunjin like pretty. He has blue eyes very similar to Jeongin's. And dark hair.
And he is smiling.
Seungmin would love to be best friends with him already.

"Minnie…..are you sleeping?"
"No. I can not. I am sweating. Why are you so hot? Are you sick?"
"Low. Low. Brothers are sleeping. Let's not wake them up."
"I am not loud."
"You are."
"Shhhh.."
Seungmin lifts himself up slightly to check on their older brothers. Yongbok is sleeping on his side a bit further from him. Jisung is sleeping on his back, no movement at all.
Papa is not in the hut.
"Safe. We are safe. Do you want to talk?"
"Yeah."
Jeongin doesn't snuggle often. Only when he is nervous or wants to talk.
Like right now.
"What do you think of Uncle Minho?"
"What do you mean? He is nice. Isn't he?"
"He is. But we don't know him."
"We will. And Papa says he is very nice. And we should trust Papa."
"You are right."
"Do you want to hug?"
"You said I was hot."
"But you are my brother too. It's okay. Come here."
"One condition. We will not speak of it in the morning. And promise me you won't make fun of me."
"Moon promise. Now come. Or I'll go snuggle Bokkie."
"Annoying."
"You too, brother."
Jeongin slides in softly. Seungmin is happy he can hug his brother. He loves hugging his brothers. Even Jisung.
Only sometimes.
And Jeongin is worrying over nothing. He is sure they will all be best friends.
Uncle Minho is nice.
Seungmin hopes he will stay with them for a long long time.
